▼Jet Wing Optimus Prime from Transformers 3 is one of the most distinctive and recognizable versions of Optimus Prime among the movie designs, standing out in terms of appearance, functionality, and firepower. This version of Optimus is not just the convoy leader speeding down highways, but also a “super robot Gundam-type” outfitted with full-scale aerial combat equipment, as the movie emphasized his overwhelming might once equipped with the jet pack. Naturally, many transformable and non-transformable toys have been made based on this design, and Blokees wouldn’t miss out on the theme.
Essentially a plastic assembly toy: pre-painted, articulated, but non-transformable.

▼By using replacement parts, you should be able to recreate the look from Transformers 1 and 2. Here, I’m swapping the head and weapon just to give a rough idea.

▼Blokees’ Transcendence Edition Transformers line had always given me the impression of being mid-priced figures (around 30–40 RMB each): oversized blocky characters with large heads, light-up eyes, articulation but no transformation, pre-painted parts, no stickers, and requiring simple assembly—essentially bigger “Shining Edition” block figures. This Jet Wing Optimus seems to push beyond that impression, or perhaps stands as an “oversized” release within the series. In terms of experience, it is clearly an upgrade—larger size, more parts—but the design philosophy and structural approach remain consistent with the line. Articulation is limited, joints still carry that somewhat “soft plastic toy” feel, and there are no enhancements like metallic paint apps to elevate the finish. In short, despite the addition of a smaller head sculpt that looks more in line with model aesthetics, and the higher price tag, the toy is simply “bigger,” but it’s hard to say it’s truly “better.”
