Today, I’m bringing you Dr.Wu’s new product, the mini-scale Omega Supreme. Dr.Wu’s previous City Bots have all performed very well overall, and I have been looking forward to this new Omega Supreme for a long time. Dr.Wu has always had its own style when making City Bots. This time, Omega Supreme comes in two color versions: the original color version and the repaint version as Cybertronian Sentinel. How does the toy perform? Let’s find out through the review.
▼The packaging box still follows the consistent style of Dr.Wu’s mini series. In the center of the box is a 2D-style illustration of Omega Supreme in robot mode, with the mini series logo and Dr.Wu LOGO placed at the top left and bottom right respectively. The back of the box mainly shows pictures of the actual product. The two boxes display the base mode and robot mode respectively, along with the handling reminders for the mini series.

▼The contents of each box include the Omega Supreme main body, the Doctor, the Doctor’s tool accessories, a character card, and an instruction manual. If you placed a preorder, there is also a Countdown figure of Omega Supreme’s guard included as a bonus. When opening the box, the track behind Omega Supreme is stored separately and needs to be installed by yourself.

▼This Omega Supreme continues the style of the previous City Bots. Compared with the original design, it has received some chibi-style adjustments. The head sculpt recreates the classic transparent face mask. The original color version uses orange-red paint on the face, while the Cybertronian Sentinel version uses gray paint.

▼Omega Supreme has a very solid and bulky appearance, with a strong sense of weight throughout the torso and limbs. Although the two versions use the same mold, there are obvious differences in their color separation. For example, the original color version mainly uses large areas of red, yellow, and gray on the chest, while the Cybertronian Sentinel version mainly uses dark blue and light blue, along with additional red and yellow light details. The original color version also has an extra red section on the legs compared with the Cybertronian Sentinel version. The overall paint schemes of both versions closely follow the original animation designs.

▼Besides the two tracks that recreate the animation design, the back also features separate parts resembling thrusters. The arrow-shaped paint details on the back of the original color version’s lower legs also recreate the animation design. The entire back has no unnecessary parts. Although the tracks are slightly oversized, they do not affect the toy’s cute appearance at all.

▼The head can rotate horizontally. The arms can rotate vertically and lift sideways to about 90 degrees. The upper arms cannot rotate horizontally, but a pseudo-horizontal rotation can be achieved through detachable joints. The elbows can bend about 60 degrees and rotate. The right hand’s “wrist” can also achieve “detachable horizontal rotation,” and each of the three fingers has two directional joints. The left hand’s “wrist” can rotate directly without detaching.
The waist can rotate horizontally. The legs can kick forward, backward, and sideways about 90 degrees. The knees can bend close to 90 degrees and rotate. Compared with regular Generations-style toys, Omega Supreme mainly lacks horizontal rotation joints in the arms and thighs. However, because the toy uses a chibi proportion, this does not have much impact, and it can still pose quite well.

▼Omega Supreme’s accessories are the Doctor and Countdown. Those who have watched the animation may have an impression of this Doctor character. To match Omega Supreme’s proportions, the toy version also received some minor chibi-style adjustments. In terms of scale, this Doctor is definitely oversized. However, if it were made according to the exact animation proportions, the Doctor’s size would have to be measured in millimeters, so the current size is much more suitable for playing.

▼The Doctor’s arms can rotate vertically, and the elbows can bend close to 180 degrees. The legs can kick forward and backward over 90 degrees, and sideways close to 90 degrees. The knees can bend about 90 degrees, and the ankles can rotate horizontally and achieve 360-degree slight grounding. The Doctor’s articulation is similar to other mini-scale products in the same series. The toy also comes with welding torch and wrench accessories, allowing you to create repair scenes together with Omega Supreme.

▼The bonus Countdown’s vehicle mode resembles a planetary exploration vehicle. Although Cybertronian Sentinel does not have a matching small vehicle in the animation, the toy still includes one.

▼Countdown does not even need a transformation process. Simply standing it upright completes the “transformation.” The little robot mode looks quite adorable. This is truly the simplest “transformable toy” I have ever seen.

▼Omega Supreme’s transformation process is not difficult. After transforming it once, you can basically remember the entire process. The transformation design also recreates the split transformation concept from the animation. The arms, legs, tracks, and other parts all need to be separated, transformed, and reassembled. Omega Supreme’s vehicle mode is this complete rocket launch base. Although small in size, it has everything: the rocket, launch platform, small tank, and runway are all recreated in detail.

▼If you want, you can also push the small tank along the track. The bonus Countdown can also transform into a small vehicle and be placed on the track, while the Doctor can stand beside the rocket. This is the complete Omega Supreme base mode.

▼In addition, Omega Supreme and the Doctor can combine into a box mode together, which is also a unique feature of Dr.Wu’s mini City Bot series. The transformed box looks like Omega Supreme has been packed up and shipped away. It can be considered a precious recording of Omega Supreme’s early days infiltrating enemy territory inside a shipping box. I remember this box mode may be compatible with boxes from a certain brand, so those who own them can try it out.

▼This Omega Supreme continues the consistent style of Dr.Wu’s mini base series. The toy is small and cute, extremely detailed when held in hand, and comes with all the necessary accessories. With simple transformation and the original box mode, the overall playability of the toy is very high. It is also very suitable as a casual desk toy. If you have purchased other Dr.Wu bases before, this Omega Supreme is almost a must-buy. If you have never bought one, this Omega Supreme is also a great entry point into the series. Overall, this toy performs very well.
