▼The third installment of JiGuangMao Toy’s Q-version combiner series, "Steel Kiddy Party·Bruticus" (sample), has arrived! It is said that the full release will begin in mid-January this year, so today, let’s take a sneak peek at these five adorable figures and their combiner form!

▼The combined large gun can be split into 7 small guns.

▼Vehicle team babies are gathered! The five members are designed with different heights and body sizes. "Onslaught," which forms the torso, stands about 6cm tall, while the other members are around 5.5~6cm. The combiner accessories can be used as the "mysterious sixth member."

▼Onslaught has the most robust body because its waist and hip joints serve as the combiner waist-hip joints, which makes the lower body joints fairly tight.

▼The waist can rotate 360 degrees, and using the transformation joints, a bending pose can be achieved. The arms can raise 90 degrees, and the elbows have two degrees of bending. For the legs, aside from average grounding, the side kicks and knee bends can reach a standard 90 degrees.

▼Even so, Onslaught is the only member of the five who can kneel on one knee.

▼The combiner accessories, made up of the chest plate, torso, palms, and feet, are assembled as the "sixth member." The wrist and foot connectors are made of POM material, and snapping them in or removing them feels tight.

▼Vortex and Blast Off, the two brothers, form the left and right arm components of the combiner. Due to the different vehicle modes, the parts of these two are essentially not interchangeable.

▼Vortex’s head, chest, and waist can rotate horizontally. The arms and elbows can raise 90 degrees; the ankle can extend outwards to improve the grounding area. Due to size limitations, the thigh rotation joint is absent.

▼The two small machine gun parts in the official images will be included with the full release.

▼Blast Off’s articulation is similar to Vortex, but with an additional joint in the arms for a second degree of bend, and the ankle can ground up to 90 degrees.

▼Brawl and Swindle, as the leg components of the combiner, have essentially the same structure. Swindle is the only member with a face.

▼The individual articulation for these two is quite basic, and they are the only ones without arm articulation.

▼Vehicle mode: After transforming, the five members still retain their cute egg-shaped vehicle modes. The vehicle transformations are relatively simple, while the helicopter and shuttle transformations for the arms are much more complex. This was an adjustment made to ensure a complete transformation look.

▼Onslaught’s missile trailer is the longest among the five vehicles. The rear of the vehicle can carry a noisy tank mode, with a simple camouflage paint job on the front and 10 wheels that roll properly. The folding transformation at the back of the missile trailer is a bit tight, so extra care is needed during transformation.

▼Vortex transforms into a helicopter mode, which looks very cute with its round nose. The propeller has an inertial rotating structure. Personally, I think Vortex’s transformation is the most difficult among the five.

▼Blast Off’s vehicle mode is a shuttle, with the transformation difficulty second only to Vortex.

▼Brawl’s vehicle is a Leopard tank. The turret can rotate horizontally, and the barrel can adjust up and down. This is the simplest transformation of the five.

▼Swindle’s vehicle is a military jeep, and it’s the only one in the team that has a mountable weapon for a hand-held gun.

▼Bruticus! Combiner! The combined height is approximately 17cm. Compared to the first two with heavily modified styles, this time, Bruticus has returned to a more traditional approach with some simplification of the design. The head sculpt uses a dazzling coating technique, which reflects light beautifully even without the light-up eyes. The chest armor comes with two different styles, one representing the G1 animation version and the other the original design version. This time, there’s only one combined large gun, but the new fully articulated hands bring some playability back.

▼When placed alongside the previous two versions, there is no strong sense of discord. The head-to-body ratio after combining is consistent with the previous works.

▼The two armor styles are completely different. The brown version has the explosive shuttle design, while the gray version has more rugged details. The combination of these colors looks more cohesive.

▼The head sculpt contains an LED magnetic light module, but you need to provide your own LR927 button cell battery.

▼The head is on a single ball joint, and the waist can rotate horizontally.

▼Vortex’s arm articulation can reach around 75 degrees, and the elbow can bend 90 degrees.

▼Blast Off’s arm articulation looks more complete, with the same range of motion as the left arm.

▼If the range of motion for the arms isn’t enough, you can unlock the upper arm joint to achieve a larger adjustment.

▼The hands are newly designed five-finger articulated hands.

▼Swindle and Brawl, as the legs, have the least number of transformation steps. You can still see their little heads peeking out from the back of the legs.

▼The range for lateral kicking is large, and the ankles can ground to 45 degrees. The knee joint is a standard 90 degrees, but the front kick range is relatively small.

▼Since this time there’s only one combined large gun, the playability is somewhat limited. However, the new fully articulated hands bring some playability back.

▼The progress of Steel Kiddy Party is becoming faster. The upcoming fourth installment—Superion, and the fifth installment—Armadillo, will be the highlight of 2026!
