Jiu Jiu Studio QQT-02 Predacons Headstrong & Tantrum Set of 2
BenZonah: Let's remember what this is, a low budget Predacon set. Don't expect NewAge quality. For a low budget set, it's good. Intuitive transformation, joints seem OK. The animal legs seem a little loose on my copy but not too bad. The feet fit well on these bots in combined mode. Not much paint, which is to be expected. Comes with 3-D printed leg fillers for robot mode and some kind of representation of them on thin plastic.

I'll be completing the set. Can't wait for Predaking.
Newage H64 Lincoln Trailbreaker
BenZonah: This is a really good rendition of Trailbreaker. He's very easy to transform. Comes with a good deal of accessories, an extra face plate and some blast effects  I wouldn't give it a 5 because there is either a design defect or QC issue when you snap the front in a tab (see pictures). I watched new age's video, but it won't stay in, you have to hold the front when moving certain parts or it untabs.

I like that made him very clean and didn't use the ugly toy design. If they could have designed that tab better or better QC, this would be almost perfect.

Note : in the pictures, you will see a line on the windshield, that is just the light reflection
Newage Upgrade Kit for Hephaestus Devastator Combiner
BenZonah: Overall a great set. Probably a 4.5.

Hook - legs are more cartoon accurate and have covers over the hollow legs to make them look better.

Mix master- Cab looks much better. It's bigger and has better proportions. Added a stabilizer in the back.

Scrapper - The covering looks great in bot mode. It's a bit trickier to transform and also to attach to the combiner frame though. I don't like the new heel. I see why it's like that, but the bot is a little more unstable compared to the old legs.

In the pics, new is installed on the bot, old is to the right.
Newage H47G Daedalus Grapple Green Version
BenZonah: Advice for those buying this mold. Check the screw in the picture where the cab rotates. My Artfire was too tight from the factory (which I didn't know) and it broke while transforming it. You should loosen it before transformation so it's not too tight as a precaution.

That said, this is a great mold. The transformation of the crane into the chest is great. The paint is great. Disappointed that it didn't come with any blast accessories.
Dr.Wu DW-E09T Star Fear Thrugh Starscream Transparent Version
BenZonah: Good figure from Dr. Wu. It is a clear version of Starscream with a clear throne, solid coronation crown, clear cape and clear shoulder pads. Comes with an extra head and what I think are alternate upper arms. The blasters still fall off the arms easily. Head is not transparent, which is annoying with these clear figures. Just need Scourge so this figure can haunt him

Note : The light base in my pictures is not included.
Newage H69 William Sunstreaker
BenZonah: I am very pleased with this bot. Newage has done an outstanding job with Sunstreaker. This guy looks great and transforms very easily. Bot mode is very clean. I'm a little concerned about the silver paint scraping, but I think that we just need to be careful and not rush things.

Comes with an Autobot Spike part and some key.

I wasn't planning to get the repaints, but I may have to after getting this guy. Very impressed.
FansToys FT-55B Steeljaw, Ramhorn & Eject Set of 3
BenZonah: These are visually good. Unfortunately the design is really bad. Ramhorn and Steeljaw have some problems that shouldn't have happened. They both show hollowness in parts, which I would think Fanstoys would be able to hide.

On Steeljaw, there is a part of the transformation where you have to rotate a piece under another piece. This requires you to bend part of the top piece. On Ramhorn, the back legs are horrible to remove. FT instruction video is no help. Bobby Skullface had a video showing how to do it right. Repeated transformations seems like they would eventually break.

Eject (Blue) seems fine as he is just a repaint of the red one.
Dr.Wu DW-E04B Prime Commander Nemesis Prime w/ Trailer Black Version
BenZonah: Great Dr Wu Nemesis Prime. Seems based on siege or earthrise prime. Includes trailer, arms, gun, roller and laser axe. The paint scheme looks good on this guy. I like it better than the other Prime colors. Fairly posable and easy to transform. This copy is going with Nemesis Magnus.
NewAge H70 Oddball Warpath
BenZonah: Sorely disappointed with this. It looks nice but Newage seems to manage to screw up their products lately. This thing has two major defects which appear to be design related. The first is that the arms when moved, push back some kind of hinge. Even after pushing it in, it still won't stay.

Second, there is a warning at the END of the instructions, (not the beginning where an intelligent person would place it) about scraping the paint. This is a poorly designed product if you have to worry about that.

If those issues weren't present, this would be a great figure as the transformation is fairly simple and the sculy looks great. But new age is going the way of XTB.
Dr.Wu DW-E59G Drone & DW-E60G Rover Set of 2
BenZonah: Cool set. Good quality and easy to transform. The blades in the air drone rotate and aren't static.  Comes with a small model kit of the cassette bots.
